WHAT SETS HUES APART?

Hues Hair and Skin Salon in Rocklin, California, is a different kind of salon! It is our primary goal to provide clients with the best service while using and providing the best in products at reasonable prices.

We will continually be bringing in new talent to Hues - whether they have years of experience or are newly licensed. What will set Hues apart from other salons in the region is the ongoing education we provide to keep growing the talent that each one of us has within us.

Here are a few things the consumer should be aware of with regard to the beauty industry:

• The main goal of Beauty School is not to train great stylists or estheticians. It is to enable them to pass the state board to get a license.
• A lot of salon owners are not licensed and have no training in the beauty industry, thus cannot train their staff.
• A lot of salons are rental based. The salon owner is basically a landlord collecting rent. Everyone renting is on their own "doing their own thing" and there is little to no accountability.
• Frequently in rental-based salons there is little to no continuing education taking place.

Hues has gone through a few restructurings and is now a team, employee-based salon.  Continuing education is vital to providing a great customer experience on a continual basis, and it is our philosophy that it is important in the success of the salon.
